Iranian Army unveils four homegrown military equipment

TEHRAN – In an event in Tehran on Monday, the Iranian Army exhibited the latest products developed in cooperation with local knowledge-based companies, Mehr reported.
The products included four new defense achievements including a vertical quadcopter, a command and control system, a fireproof ammo box, and a simulated 155mm barrel.
A highlight of the exhibition was an octocopter, dubbed Hod Hod (Hoopoe), with a flight range of 100 kilometers, flight endurance of four hours and capable of carrying cargoes.
Other key products included a fireproof, waterproof and anti-shock ammunition box as well as a command and control system for telecommunication networks.
